Information We Collect
When you run an SEO audit, we collect the URL you submit and the audit results generated from that URL. If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
We automatically collect basic usage data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited. This data is collected through standard server logs and analytics tools.
We do not collect passwords for the sites you audit. We only access publicly available information on the URLs you submit.
How We Use Your Information
We use the URLs you submit solely to perform SEO audits and generate reports. Audit results may be cached temporarily to improve performance for repeated scans of the same URL.
Account information is used to provide personalized features such as audit history, saved reports, and account management.
Usage data helps us improve the product, fix bugs, and understand how people use PulseSeo. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, secure authentication, and access controls.
Audit reports are stored for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Anonymous audit data (URLs and results without user identification) may be retained for aggregate analytics and product improvement.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are required for the application to function.
We may use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings without affecting core functionality.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for analytics, error tracking, and infrastructure. These services process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you have an account, you can delete it directly from your account settings.
You can opt out of non-essential data collection by disabling cookies in your browser. You can also request that we stop processing your data for specific purposes.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or via email if you have an account.
Continued use of PulseSeo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
